Hey guys.

I am very impressed with the quality of design and function of your skins and would like to pick your brain a bit.

I have purchased your new Gamer: Heavy Metal skin package and have begun constructing my first site utilizing it.  I am in search of a good skin editor that will help me do things like adjusting module and layouts directly, but am unsure where to start.

First question:  What skin editor do you use/recommend for development?

*I'm sure I'll have further questions, but for right now this is what I'm stuck on.

I believe all of us use Visual Studio.. Not sure thought but at least I'm using it as I'm also a programmer.

However, there are other good software:

UltraEdit: http://www.ultraedit.com/index.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=1

UEStudio: http://www.ultraedit.com/index.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=150

You might also want to try out
Visual Web Developer: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/vwd/

What comes to the design side, photoshop, photoshop, photoshop and a tad of Imageready

If you want to play with the CSS, the colors etc.. Install Firefox and also the Web Developer Extension in firefox

By the way, care to tell us what you want to change? Just interested

Hey Chris,

Yea... we all use Visual Studio.net.  I use it only to build css and html files, but really you can use any good html editor.  However, I use it in text mode - ( HTML mode) - not in Design Mode.  I've never been able to use a GUI based html editor to my liking - they always seem to screw something up!

So perhaps I'm not the best guy to ask about this...

I'm glad you like my skin... if enough sell... I'll be making more Gamer skins... so tell your buddies!

LOL!

Cheers!
